The University and Africa: Past, Present and Future
The General Council Half Yearly Meeting will be held in the morning of Saturday 15th June 2019, in the McEwan Hall. This will be followed by presentations and a panel discussion to highlight the range of the University’s engagement with Africa and some of the key contemporary issues. An informal buffet lunch will give participants the opportunity to move around this splendid space engaging with an array of exhibits and events which will run in parallel with the opportunity to talk to staff and students from across the University who are engaged in these projects. The closing session will look to the future and opportunities for interested alumni to remain engaged with developments in this area.
