It is now time to elect five new members of the General Council Business Committee.
We have seven outstanding candidates from a variety of backgrounds and industry sectors, all of whom are committed to the University of Edinburgh and keen to play a greater role in its future governance. You can find out more about the candidates by visiting www.general-council.ed.ac.uk/elections and selecting the ‘Election Status’ tab.
Since 1858 the General Council of the University of Edinburgh has enabled graduates to provide guidance to the University’s governing body.
In 2017 this guidance is as valuable as ever as the University adapts to the changes and challenges of global higher education.
Ensure that the right people are representing you by voting in the General Council Business Committee elections.
